Websurfer is a pioneer in ‘Metro Ethernet’. This is a one of a kind service, being introduced in Nepal for the very first time. Websurfer has recently upgraded to Metro Ethernet network with MEF9 & MEF 14 certified equipments to offer next generation L2 and L3 features as well as to meet the requirement of customers for QOS, OAM,VPN, Multi-service and 50ms Ring Protection.

Multi-service access: Websurfer Metro-E Network now supports any type of requirement like VPN, EI/TI (TDMoIP), VoIP, wireless access and IPTV services.

Perfect OAM: We are now enabled with Carrier-class OAM with the ability to monitor, diagnose and centrally managed network with standard protocols implementation (802.lag, 802.3ah and E-LMI)

Various VPN: The network now supports the VPN services including EPL, EVPL and E-LAN defined by MEF to help open various VPN services. Websurfer intercity network is in MPLS platform to provide MPLS VPN, MPLS-TE, EoMPLS, VPLS services etc.

50ms Ring/Service Protection: The exclusive feature of Websurfer Network is Ethernet ring protection technology, which can realize 50ms network protection. In this way, the service continuity of carriers is ensured.

High reliability: Rapid recovery time with redundant power supply system enables the network to detect and recover from incidents without impacting the services.

Quality of Service: Our network is capable to provide Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that deliver end-to-end performance matching the requirements for voice, video, and data over converged business and residential network. The network is also capable to give wide choice and granularity of bandwith and quality of service options.

L2/L3 multicast: Our network meets the requirement of multicast services (IGMP snooping, IGMP fast adding/leaving protocol, L3 PIM and PIM-SM protocols)

Powerful anti-attack checking capability: The network supports LAND, SYN Flood, Smurf, Ping Flood, Teardrop and Ping of Death and defines the processing policies for attack packets to ensure the device and network security.
